Man crashes into deputy’s cruiser

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Ohio (WDTN) -A Montgomery County Deputy walks away unharmed from a hit and run accident.

Deputies said a man crashed into a Montgomery County Deputy’s cruiser then drove off.

Dayton Police found the suspect vehicle on Adelite Avenue and Mccall Street.

Authorities said this happened around 1:30 a.m. on Frytown Road.  They said the deputy stopped at a stop sign.  The other vehicle tried to speed around the cruiser but slammed into it.

The deputy managed to get the license plate authorities said.

Deputies said the suspect vehicle was reported stolen from the K9 Club in the 5100 block of Germantown Pike.  The person who reported it stolen claimed he was robbed as well.

At last check, there’s no sign of the suspect.  The deputy wasn’t hurt during this accident.

This hit and run accident is still under investigation.
