FAIRBORN, Ohio (WDTN) – Fairborn police are looking for a woman recently charged with child endangering.

The husband of Tanya McLafferty, 35, reported her missing to police Thursday. Solomon McLafferty told police Tanya told him she couldn’t sleep and was going for a drive. He says he hasn’t seen her since.

The McLaffertys were charged Tuesday after their home on Hebble Avenue was deemed unlivable.

Officers found cat feces and dirty diapers throughout the house. Children services was called in to investigate.

McLafferty’s husband says Tanya was depressed following the arrest. Police say she takes prescription medications that she does not have with her.

She is also driving a gray 2011 Dodge Caravan with Ohio license plate FVJ 5616.
