Woman struck by car

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Dayton police officers said a 50-year-old woman suffered life threatening injuries when she was struck by a car Thursday night.

It happened at the intersection of Monument Street and Patterson Boulevard  just before 11 p.m.

Police believe she was coming from an event at Fifth Third Field. There is a crosswalk at the intersection but officers don’t think she was in it when she was struck.

The driver said he did not see her.

Officers interviewed that driver and witnesses and will be reviewing surveillance video from a nearby business to complete their investigation.
