DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — A Dayton woman was arrested after police say she fired a gun from a porch while several children were inside the home.
Kisia Arrone, 33, was arrested on charges of misconduct at an emergency and obstructing official business.
When officers were responding to a domestic violence call in the 100 block of East Maplewood around 9 p.m. Friday, they heard what sound like gunshots coming from down the street.
Crews then rushed to the front porch of 66 East Maplewood where they heard the shots fired. When they arrived, they observed a “happy birthday” banner and several people inside the home, including small children. Police ordered everyone outside.
From talking with witnesses, they were able to determine that Arrone fired the shots from the porch for an unknown reason.
Officers were unable to find a gun.
Arrone was taken into custody and booked into the Montgomery County Jail.
