Missing woman charged with child endangering found at hospital

FAIRBORN, Ohio (WDTN) — The Fairborn woman who went missing after recently being charged with child endangering has been found.

Fairborn police say 35-year-old Tanya McLafferty was found at a local hospital.

McLafferty’s husband reported her missing to police Thursday. Solomon McLafferty told police Tanya told him she couldn’t sleep and was going for a drive.

The McLaffertys were charged Tuesday after their home on Hebble Avenue was deemed unlivable.

Officers found cat feces and dirty diapers throughout the house. Children services was called in to investigate.

McLafferty’s husband says Tanya was depressed following the arrest.
