DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — A man is behind bars after police say he tried to fill a fake prescription.

Michael Ransome, 31, was arrested on charges of deception to obtain and illegal processing of drug documents.

Police were called to the Kroger located at 4506 Brandt Pike after 11 a.m. Saturday on report of a fraud.

According to officers, Ransome was trying to use a fake prescription to get oxycodone. He told the pharmacy he was there to fill a medication for his aunt when workers discovered  the script was forged and called police.
