Police ID woman who died after being found in street

XENIA, Ohio (WDTN) — Xenia Police are investigating after a woman was pronounced dead after being found in the street.

Officers were called to the area of Center Avenue and Locust Street late Friday night.

When officers arrived, they moved her out of the roadway in the grass in front of a house on Center Avenue. Crews performed CPR in an attempt to revive her. Teresa M. Bozarth, 42, of Dayton, was transported to Miami Valley Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Police said Bozarth’s injuries were consistent with being struck by a motor vehicle.

Detectives and the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigations are still investigating her death.
