Farm accident fatality in Preble County

CAMDEN, Ohio (WDTN) – A Preble County man is dead following a farm accident.

The Preble County Sheriff’s Office says Jason Simpson, 33, of West Chester, was trying to remove a log from a pond drain when his tractor overturned, rolled down a hill and struck him. It pinned him partially in the water.

Simpson was dead at the scene. He was working on a family farm located at State Route 732 and Camden College Corner Road.
