Dayton man to be arraigned in child’s death

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A Dayton man now charged in connection with a crash that killed his girlfriend’s 8-year-old son will be in court Tuesday.

Jerimy Rowland will be arraigned on charges of aggravated vehicular homicide and endangering children.

Prosecutors say he ran a stop sign and clipped a vehicle, causing his car to flip multiple times on Geneva Road in October.

La’kell Newland was killed.
