DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Spring flowers and tree blossoms could have a rough night.

Storm Team 2 says patchy frost could blanket the Miami Valley overnight.

“Temperatures will fall into the mid 30s late tonight,” said Storm Team 2 Chief Meteorologist Brian Davis. “Frost could form after midnight especially in sheltered areas.”

If you planted anything early this year, you might want to protect them from the elements, especially if your plants are in low lying areas or sheltered from the wind.

Rain is back in the forecast toward the end of the week. Temperatures will slowly start to rise as well.
