TROY, Ohio (WDTN) – The owner of a disbanded animal rescue shelter was convicted of cruelty Wednesday.

Our partners at the Troy Daily News report that Shula Woodworth was found guilty of three out of five charges against her.

The 46-year-old failed to provide food and water for more than 100 animals at Serenity Horse Rescue.

She was acquitted of charges involving two swine and a jersey calf.

A sentencing date is pending.
