WRIGHT PATTERSON AFB (WDTN) – Wright-Patt’s Freedom’s Call, canceled last year because of budget cuts, is back this year.
Freedom’s Call will be held June 27 from 4 to 10:30 p.m. at the National Museum of the United States Air Force. Gates will open at 4:00.
The cost-free family-orientated patriotic celebration will be capped off that night with a fireworks display starting at 10 p.m.
Base officials told 2 NEWS they saved $300,000 last year when the celebration fell victim to the congressional mandated sequestration.
