River search continues for Zaden McKnight

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Search crews are out Thursday looking for Zaden McKnight, the young boy believed killed alongside his mother.

Dayton homicide detectives, members of Box 21 and Ohio Task Force 1 were out on the Stillwater River and searching the river’s banks.

The body of Nichelle McKnight, Zaden’s mother, was found on the banks of the Stillwater River April 11. She had been shot twice.

Both Zaden and Nichelle were reported missing March 25.

Police believe Antwan Anderson killed Nichelle. He killed himself April 7 after leading police on a short chase.
