WPAFB employee busted in sex sting

RIVERSIDE, Ohio (WDTN) – Riverside officers arrested six people in a sex sting, including an official at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.

Mark Robbins, Deputy Director of the 88th Force Support Squadron, was booked into jail Tuesday night.

We asked base officials if they planned any disciplinary action for Robbins.

In a statement a spokesperson says, “At this point, we are monitoring the case and awaiting additional information regarding Mr. Robbins’ arrest and potential charges that might be filed against him. Any administrative or employment actions that might be taken against Mr. Robbins as a result of this incident would be Privacy Act protected, and therefore not subject to release.”

Officers say the sting involved placing an Internet ad for an escort service. After trading calls and messages, Robbins and the other five were asked to go to a local hotel, where they were arrested.

In addition to Robbins, Jerry Borchers, Corey Carter, Tiffany Isaacs and Jennifer Shatterfield were booked on soliciting prostitution.
