DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Two dogs were taken from a Dayton apartment as their owner faces charges.

Police arrested Jesse White, Jr., at his apartment on the 2000 block of Mayfair Road around 3 p.m. Sunday.

Animal Resource Officers were also called and took pit bulls away from the apartment.

It is not clear why the dogs were taken from the home.

White has been charged with resisting arrest and obstructing official business and is booked in the Montgomery County Jail. He was transported to the hospital for a medical condition first.
