Police respond after dogs removed from home

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Some dogs were removed from a Dayton home Sunday afternoon.

Police were called to the 2000 block of Mayfair Road around 3 p.m. Sunday.

Animal Resource Officers were also called and took pit bulls away from the residence.

It is not clear why the dogs were taken from the home.

One person was also taken into custody, but was transported to the hospital for a medical condition first.
