Police look for reckless school lot driver

KETTERING, Ohio (WDTN) – Kettering police are looking for a reckless driver who put school children at risk.

Police say the woman drove her red pickup truck carelessly through the parking lot of Southdale Elementary School at 1200 West Dorothy Lane on Thursday, April 24.

They say she hit a parked car before fleeing.

The incident happened just after 2:00 p.m. as some parents were picking up their children after school.

Police describe the woman as having brown hair in a pony tail. She was driving a Dodge Sport truck with chrome tires.

Call Kettering Police at 296-2555 if you recognize the woman or if you think you know the truck’s license plate number.
