Suspect in sweeper hose beating under arrest

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio (WDTN) – The man accused of beating a woman with a sweeper hose is now under arrest.

Police caught up with Wesley Tigner, 33, Monday night in Dayton.

Deputies have been searching for him since the April 10 attack on Gerlaugh Road.

The woman told deputies at the time that a man broke into her home and beat her with various objects.

He faces charges of felonious assault and aggravated burglary. He is being held in the Clark County Jail.
