DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Dayton Police are investigating a shooting.

Investigators say a man heard a knock on the door at his Cambridge Drive Avenue home around 9:30 p.m. He answered to find two men demanding his car keys.

Police say the man said no and shut the door. They says the two suspects then busted down the door and shot him in the leg.

The victim was taken to the hospital, but is expected to recover.

Police are working with him to get descriptions of the suspects.

The shooting came about two hours after a homicide on Bragg Place where police say the victim was chased down after an argument.
