VANDALIA, Ohio (WDTN) – A Vandalia hotel was evacuated after a reported gas leak Thursday night.

Guests at the Knight’s Inn/Travelodge in the 7200 block of Poe Avenue were told to get out of the building around 7:45 p.m.

One person was checked out at the scene, but was not taken to the hospital.

Firefighters are now determining the source of the leak after ventilating the building.

The Knight’s Inn will remain closed for the night.  The guests staying there were all given rooms on the Travelodge side of the hotel.  So, everyone is back in a room for the night.
