Kettering police search for church theft suspect

KETTERING, Ohio (WDTN) – Kettering police are looking for a man they say stole from a church.

Surveillance cameras caught the suspect inside Saint Albert’s Church in the 3000 block of Far Hills Avenue.

They say he broke into the donation box and stole the cash inside. The robbery happened in October 2013, but police have yet to identify the man.

He was wearing a backwards ball cap at the time with an orange hoodie style sweatshirt with a dark strip down the sleeve.

Investigators believe he is in his 20s.
