FAIRBORN, Ohio (WDTN) – The Wright State University Board of Trustees approved the university’s fiscal 2015 budget.

It will include a tuition increase this fall for full-time students. The increase adds up to $188 more than last year’s $8,542 tuition. That is a 2.2 percent increase.

Wright State says the spending plan supports future growth. It was approved Friday by a unanimous vote.

The budget is now $304.5 million, an increase of $6.5 million from last year. It is part of an overall budget of $398.5 million which includes cash for restricted use from research grants and contracts.
