CrossFit competition benefits A Special Wish

MORAINE, Ohio (WDTN) — A cross-fit competition was held Saturday to help grant a special wish to an eight-year-old with a life-threatening heart disorder.

Tyler is from Fairborn and has Critical Valvular Aortic Stenosis.

His special wish is to go on a dinosaur dig in South Dakota, work with a paleontologist and to take a home a fossil. During his trip, Tyler will go into the desert and dig up dinosaur fossils, go to the lab and learn how to prep them after the dig, and then he will get to take one home.

Vigor CrossFit hosted the competition at its location in Moraine with more than 70 teams participating.
