Victim of car-motorcycle collision identified

EATON, Ohio (WDTN) – One person is dead in collision between a motorcycle and a car in Preble County.

The accident happened southeast of Eaton at the intersection of SR 122 and Yost Road.

Investigators with the Ohio State Highway Patrol told 2 NEWS the drover of the car was north bound on SR 122 when he came upon a car and another motorcycle waiting to turn left onto Yost Road.

The driver served left of center to avoid a collision with the stopped vehicles and struck a southbound motorcycle being driven by Paul Estep, 33, of Gratis. Estep was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the car, who has not been identified, was taken to Reid Memorial Hospital for treatment.
