Investigators connect one man to three meth lab busts

Miamisburg meth lab fire

WEST CARROLLTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Two people are now in custody in connection to a suspected mobile meth lab. One of the suspects is already charged in two other similar cases.

Chelsea Adams and James Plemons, Jr. were arrested in the area of Farmersville West Carrollton Road near the C-S-X tracks early Tuesday morning.

A HAZMAT crew was called after a suspected meth lab was found in a UHaul parked nearby.

The suspects remain behind bars. Police say formal charges are pending.

Plemons was also arrested last month on Maue Road in Miamisburg after a fire started in a home there.

Crews put it out and officials say that’s when they found a meth lab.

He was actually due in court Tuesday for charges in that case.

In addition, he awaits trial on a third case after prosecutors say a mobile meth lab was found in his camper last year near Wright Patterson Air Force Base. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
