Bottle bombs found outside Vandalia school

VANDALIA, Ohio (WDTN) – Emergency crews responded after two bottle bombs were found outside Helke Elementary in Vandalia on Saturday.

Officers were called to the school around 6:15 p.m. after the explosive devices were found in the parking lot and on the sidewalk.

One bottle bomb was detonated at the scene. The other bottle bomb was taken away by police to be analyzed.

Police tell 2 NEWS no one was hurt.
