Police called to Therapy Cafe for assault

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Dayton Police are investigating after a Therapy Cafe worker said she was assaulted.

Police were called to the Therapy Cafe located at 452 East Third Street around 1 a.m. Friday.

According to the victim who works at Therapy Cafe, her ex-boyfriend showed up at the bar. She said as she was leaving the bar with her brother, her ex-boyfriend grabbed her and choked her.

She said several people intervened and in the process shattered the plate glass window in the front of the bar.

The victim’s ex-boyfriend left the scene before police arrived.

Police are still investigating.
