Dogs taken away after 6-year-old bit

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Two pit bulls were taken away from a neighborhood after a 6-year-old was bitten.

Police were called to the 100 block of Notre Dame Avenue around 8 p.m. Saturday.

According to the victim’s mother, the two pit bulls were running loose in the area and bit her son. She told officers the dogs had been loose for the past three days.

Police took the dogs away and placed them in the custody of the Animal Resource Center.
