DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — A Dayton man is behind bars after police say he was causing a disturbance in front of his apartment with a knife.
Michael Heidenreich, 50, was arrested on charges of aggravated menacing and disorderly conduct.
According to neighbors, Heidenreich was standing in the front yard of his apartment in the 100 block of Kelly Avenue around 1:30 a.m. Friday yelling and fighting with himself. Neighbors said he was highly intoxicated. They told police when they confronted him, he brandished a pocket knife and yelled at them. They said he then proceeded to knock down several construction cones near the apartments with a piece of wood.
Police responded to the apartments and booked Heidenreich into the Montgomery County Jail.
