RTA schedules maintenance work in Oakwood

OAKWOOD, Ohio (WDTN) – The Greater Dayton Regional Transit Authority (RTA) is scheduled to start replacing seven trolley bus poles and some overhead wires in the city of Oakwood the week of May 12.

In addition to overhead wire replacement, the work will involve removal of existing poles, installation of new poles and pole foundations and lawn restoration.

The work will be done along Far Hills Avenue between Patterson Road and Oakwood Avenue and along Oakwood Avenue between Far Hills Avenue and Schenck Avenue.
