DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A wet and stormy start to the week will linger on as we move forward.

Storm Team 2 is watching closely as a cold front approaches the area. It will bring a big cool down with it, but also the possibility of more thunderstorms.

“Some storms could re-develop Tuesday afternoon,” said Storm Team 2 Chief Meteorologist Brian Davis. “Our best chance for storms is most likely Wednesday afternoon into Thursday morning. Our risk for anything severe is slight.”

The high Tuesday will be a warm and humid 82 then the bottom drops out.

More rain and thunder Wednesday, but check out the high temperature. It is only 68.

The high on Friday is a chilly 58 with lows dipping into the 40s this weekend.
