GERMAN TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WDTN) – A family owned business is out more than $15,000 dollars after it’s hit by thieves last weekend.

The owner of Neff’s Lawncare told 2 NEWS this is the third time his business was targeted in the last four years.

Corae Neff said the thieves hit around 3:00 a.m. Sunday and knew what they were doing.

In a matter of minutes, they bypassed booby-traps to get the engines running on two high end, commercial lawn mowers and took off.

“They were knowledgeable enough to get them started not as quick as somebody who had been doing it for years and years,” said Neff.

If you have any information that could help police, you’re asked to call Crime Stoppers at 222-7867.
