SPRINGFIELD, Ohio (WDTN) –  The Clark County Safe Communities Coalition, along with  federal and state law enforcement agencies kicked-off the Click It or Ticket national campaign Tuesday morning.

The campaign to raise the awareness of seat belt usage runs from May 19 to June 1.

The national campaign has increased seat belt use and saved many lives over the years, but there is still more that can be done, campaign officials said.

Recent fatalities in Clark County have shown the increased need for education and enforcement on the usage of seat belts.
