MIDDLETOWN, Ohio (WDTN) – Smoke and flames filled a Middletown home just after 1 a.m. Tuesday.

It happened at 2001 Roosevelt Avenue.

Authorities said by the time fire crews got there, the home was almost completely engulfed in flames. One firefighter was treated for smoke inhalation.

No one was home at the time of the fire, however, investigators said there was a disturbance at the address a few hours earlier.

They are looking into whether the fire was intentionally set as a result of that disturbance.
