Dayton man questioned about abandoned puppies

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – The Humane Society of Greater Dayton says it knows who abandoned several puppies on the shelter steps last month.

Agents interviewed a Dayton man and he could now face charges.

Five puppies are in foster homes right now getting stronger by the day. Two adult dogs died.

Two puppies made a recent visit the Humane Society to get their booster shots. Three other dogs in foster care are also well on the road to recovery.

The Humane Society will meet with prosecutor’s by week’s end to decide on any charges.
