XENIA, Ohio (WDTN) – Homeowners in Xenia Township are cleaning up after Tuesday night’s storm.
Barns were damaged, tree limbs were down, and parts of roofs were blown away.
The Stringtown Road area near US 35 felt high winds and rain that gave residents there quite a scare.
“Our barn was gone, tree limbs everywhere roof part in the tree, roof parts everywhere, few of our shingles were gone, part of the siding on the house was gone, but luckily no windows were broken,” said Dennis Mick, Xenia Township resident.
Mick’s home was destroyed by the 1974 tornado. He says it is important to always be prepared.
