Rain continues Thursday morning with cooler temps

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Damaging thunderstorms rolled through the Miami Valley Wednesday afternoon spawning a possible tornado touchdown in Cedarville in Greene County.  Emergency crews responded from across the Miami Valley.

While all tornado warnings were cancelled as of 7 p.m., a Tornado Watch was allowed to expire just before 9 p.m.

Storm Team 2 Chief Meteorologist Brian Davis says more storms are possible into the early morning hours Thursday.

“The potential is there for some quick spin-ups of air that quickly strike and move on,” said Davis.

Thursday will be a much cooler day.  The high temperature is only 60.

Storm Team 2 Meteorologist Jamie Jarosik is tracking any storms that developed overnight and Thursday morning. She is ready to bring you up to the minute information on the air, on your desktop and on your favorite mobile device.
