UNION, Ohio (WDTN) – Ohio’s governor says the 800 Procter and Gamble jobs coming to the Miami Valley is a high sign.  Governor John Kasich acknowledges the construction of a Procter and Gamble distribution center in Union can mean other corporations will come to the area.

The City of Union business leaders say it is perfect, bordered by I-70 and I-75.  It will mean a reduction in transportation miles for P&G which will make the process of product distribution more environmentally friendly.

The jobs at the center will be manufacturing, but the governor says P&G is one of the great companies that has decided Ohio is a key area for distribution and innovation and he has expectations that more is coming. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
