Hospital expansion plan a step closer to construction


CLAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Clayton city leaders gave the okay to a hospital expansion project that will add nearly 100 jobs.

The city council voted unanimously during a first reading of the proposal to approve zoning at Thursday night’s meeting.

The land is around Good Samaritan Hospital’s North Health Center on Heathcliff Road.

There must be a second vote before it’s official.

Premier Health Partners already approved the $28-million expansion which includes a four story, 96,000 square foot office space and emergency department. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
