Arrests made in connection to flooded building

DAYTON – Three men were arrested after police said their attempt to steal copper caused a flood inside a building in Downtown Dayton.

Water was found poring into the Fifth Third Center at 1 South Main Street around 5:00.

The water was coming from the Dayton Arcade next door where officers said thieves were trying to steal copper.

Harold Hagerty, Christopher Hagerty, and Kevin Conn are charged with breaking and entering.
