Holes cut in roof of Cashland

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Dayton Police are investigating at breaking and entering at Cashland.

Officers were dispatched to the Cashland at 2933 Linden Avenue after 2 a.m. Friday.

When officials arrived, they found a hole in the ceiling and a large concrete block on the floor. They also discovered several ceiling titles were leaking water from the holes that had been cut in the roof.

A telvesion was damaged by the concrete block.

Workers told police they didn’t believe any items were moved or missing.

Officers are reviewing surveillance footage and are still investigating the incident.
