JJ’s Fish and Chicken employee pepper sprayed

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Dayton Police are investigating after an employee at JJ’s Fish and Chicken was pepper sprayed at a drive-thru.

Officers were called to the restaurant at 2314 North Gettysburg just after 12 a.m. Sunday.

According to the victim, he had walked over to the Prescott Drive-Thru. He said a security officer at the drive-thru insulted him, an altercation ensued, and the officer sprayed him with mace. He told police the officer then grabbed towards his holstered gun and told him not to make another move.

The security guard had left the scene when police arrived.

Other employees at the Prescott drive-thru reported seeing the altercation and said the security guard acted out of character.

The victim said he plans to file assault charges.
