CLAY TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WDTN) – State troopers are investigating a crash that left one man dead.

It happened after 8:30 a.m. Sunday at Upper Lewisburg Salem Road and Number Nine Road.

Troopers said 83-year-old Delmer Wright veered off the side of the road, hit a ditch and flipped his car on its top. They said he was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers believe that a medical condition may have caused him to crash.
