WPAFB, Ohio (WDTN) – Wright Patterson Air Force Base is growing partnerships. This time expanding health care opportunities.

Base commander Cassie Barlow says some of the most successful partnerships at the base are with the medical community.

Barlow says budget challenges mean making each dollar count and doing that includes partnerships.

Leaders from the Dayton Veterans Administration and the Greater Dayton Area Hospital Association met at the base to work on sharing resources and research.

The agreement will affect 60,000 employees and create an $11-billion impact.
