9-year-old boy flown to hospital after crash

CLARK CO., Ohio (WDTN) – A 9-year old was flown to Dayton Children’s Hospital Tuesday evening after a grinding crash.

Troopers say the car he was riding in was t-boned by an oncoming SUV in the 3600 block of Shrine Road.

The boy and a 23-year-old man were leaving the parking lot of a baseball field at the time. Troopers say they showed up at the wrong field for their game.

The 23-year-old was taken to Springfield Regional Hospital. He is expected to be okay.

The other driver was not hurt.

The boy’s condition is unknown.

Troopers are still investigating who was at fault.
