Trotwood woman jumps from burning home

TROTWOOD, Ohio (WDTN) – A woman jumped from a window to escape her burning home early Tuesday.

The fire started around 3 a.m. inside a home in the 100 block of Crown Avenue.

Firefighters tell 2 NEWS two adults, three children and a dog who live there were not inside when the fire started. The woman who jumped from the window was treated by medics and is expected to be okay.

She says she started cooking something on the stove and fell asleep.
