DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Dayton-based PSA Airlines unveiled its newest fleet of aircraft Wednesday.
The first of 30 enhanced CRJ900 NextGen aircraft will be operated under the American Eagle brand.
They provide up to a 5.5 cent fuel burn reduction over the earlier generations of the same aircraft.
The planes from Bombardier Aerospace were ordered by American Airlines Group in December 2013.
Earlier in May, PSA Airlines picked up $500,000 in grant money from Montgomery County for a new operations center.
The addition is expected to create 42 jobs.
PSA Airlines is a subsidiary of US Airways operates out of Dayton International Airport.
