DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) -Dayton-based PSA airlines is unveiling its newest fleet of aircraft.

But, what makes these planes so special?

They’re the first of 30 planes are being delivered to the Dayton International Airport.

For passengers, it features more leg room, larger windows, larger overhead bins and LED lighting.

For the airlines, the CRJ900 Next Generation boosts a savings on fuel.

The new aircrafts also mean new jobs, specifically for pilots and flight attendants.

PSA’s president said it shows the commitment the company is putting into the region.

“It’s really great to see the tangible evidence of the growth coming to PSA and what a way to see with the arrival of this aircraft. It’s a beautiful aircraft, fantastically appointed, inside and out,” said Dino Flannery.

All 30 of these new planes are expected to be delivered by the second quarter of 2015.

When and where these planes will fly are still being decided.
