Red Cross delivers aid in Clark County

MEDWAY, Ohio (WDTN) – Red Cross is helping a dozen families in Clark County and expects to aid more as the day comes to a close.

Clark County Red Cross Chapter executive Mike Larson said 60 apartments were flooded at The Layne Crest Manor apartment complex in Bethel Township. The apartment complex is a federally subsided building for low income families.

The Red Cross is providing the displaced residents with the immediate needs of food, clothing, and shelter.

Also, a shelter is open at the Medway United Methodist Church in New Carlisle.

Approximately 100 people have currently been displaced from their home.
