CHAMPAIGN COUNTY, Ohio (WDTN) – A semi driver walked away unscathed from a crash in Champaign County Thursday.

He says he swerved to avoid a car after it crossed the center line at State Route 4 and Route 56.

“Next thing I know, I was on the side, upside down.”

The semi also took out some power lines.

The crash happened just before 4:00 p.m.

The trucker says a state trooper and two good samaritans were right behind him and immediately came to his aid.

“The state trooper cut me out and then two guys pulled me out. I’m fine. Maybe, a little shaken up, trying not to tear up here.”

Two people inside the car suffered minor injuries.
